Baroque Metal

Along with his love for Power Metal, Glam Metal, & Neoclassical Metal, Chris boldly takes it back even further.

He's developed his own genre of music known as Baroque Metal. The Baroque era was known for the importance of detail to produce drama, tension, exuberance, and grandeur is key and is only derived from those with a strong emotional connection with their craft coupled with intricate skills. This complex art is also seen in architectures, sculptures, paintings, literature, dance, and music making it renowned across the globe. Combining these characteristics with the heavy and uplifting sought after organic sounds of chris' favorite metal genres of the 70's & 80's. You get a genre that is truly a one of a kind masterpiece in which few can master on all levels. Prominent instruments for the genre includes: Harpsichords, Choirs, Synthesizers, Guitars, and Vocals.  Aside from him his own genre he says the Dragonforce Team, Randy Rhoads, Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, Stratovarius, Power Quest, Poison, Dream Theater, Road, Poison, Galneryus, have heavily inspired him to shape and create his own sound.

Alessandro Scarlatti

"Toccata for Harpsichord in G Minor was my very first songs that I ever heard. Then Toccata Per Cembalo in D "Ottava Stessa was my very first song that I learned on a piano."

George Fredric Handel

"Passacaille in G Minor No.7 is the 2nd that I learned on my own. A friend had bought a kit to make a harpsichord since then we practice on it even to present day."

Domenico Scarlatti

"Sonata in D Minor K.517 was the 4th song that I've learned. That was when I understood that my strength was in Baroque music. Since I was small I always loved the renaissance period.  I've been learning everything about it and the more I did, the more I felt inspired."

Baroque is a period that started in 1600 to the 1750's. The importance of detail to produce drama, tension, exuberance, and grandeur is key and is only derived from those with a strong emotional connection with their craft coupled with intricate skills. This complex art is also seen in architectures, sculptures, paintings, literature, dance, and music making it renowned across the globe. With Chris having the passion and natural ability to improvise intricate melodies as well as learn them and have an emotional connection to any music shows what a truly rare gift from above he has been given making the genre perfect for him.
